Virtual Lecture on Racism in Public Health with Dr. Chandra Ford to be Held Sept. 15
Dr. Chandra Ford, a leading researcher in the study of health disparities, will deliver a virtual presentation for the Georgia State University community about racism in public health, entitled "Applying Lessons from Racism: Science & Tools for the Public Health Professional," from 1 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 15.
Dr. Ford is a Professor and Founding Director of the Center for the Study of Racism, Social Justice, and Health at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). The talk is organized by the School of Public Health Task Force on Racial Equity and Inclusion.
